TUBARAMA is a celebration of the glorious tuba and its tenor tuba 'relative', the euphonium. Both are endangered instruments so we want to put them in the spotlight by bringing together the largest tuba ensemble ever as part of a day of 'tuba-tastic' entertainment with a tuba festival!.

We need over 500 tubas and euphoniums to break the Guinness World Record. That's a lot of players to get all together in one place. We had hoped to do this on 30 June 2013 but we've now decided give ourselves more time so that we've got the best chance of succeeding with this ambitious target. We want to ensure this a brilliant event and are looking to secure a major sponsorship package to enable us to run Tubarama in 2014 instead. In the meantime, we've got  some smaller tuba ensembles planned, so keep checking back!
